Duplicating questions breaking question nav

If I duplicate a question, it successfully duplicates it next in the sequence of questions. BUT if I click the > arrow to move to the next question (i.e. the one I just created through duplication) it skips OVER that question to the next one.

So for example, if the question selected when I hit 'Duplicate was '1 of 4' and I click the arrow to skip to the next instruction, it takes me to '3 of 4.' It skips past the duplicate. If I hit the back arrow, it goes back to 2 of 4, but initially it skips it.

Per @chris - this seems inconsistent. Sometimes nav after duplication works correctly, sometimes it doesn't.
